Location and GPS Data
How we handle your location information
Because Tranzit is a ride-sharing platform, GPS data is required to match drivers with passengers and facilitate safe rides.

We collect real-time location data from both drivers and passengers only while the Tranzit app is actively in use.
We never track the location of our customers or drivers in the background when the app is closed or minimized. Your privacy is respected when you're not actively using our service.
What Location Data We Collect:
- Pickup and drop-off coordinates for fare calculation
- Real-time driver location during active rides (for passenger tracking)
- Trip route data for billing and dispute resolution
How We Protect Your Data
Security Infrastructure
When we collect your data, it is routed securely to the MarketHub server (WordPress). We have implemented strict, trusted security measures against hackers to ensure your information is never compromised:

Our proprietary AI-driven Fast Lane Security System monitors transactions to protect the platform and our users against fraud and chargebacks. This system uses advanced verification including face recognition and ID validation for high-risk transactions.
Customer Data & Payment Policy
Minimal data collection for maximum service
We collect minimal data required to provide you with a safe and reliable ride-sharing and delivery experience.
đ Fraud Prevention & 180-Day Retention
Sensitive data collected during checkout (such as facial verification or ID scans for card payments) is not saved permanently. It is securely retained for up to 180 days strictly to be used as evidence to dispute unauthorized chargebacks.
đī¸ Strict Deletion Policy
Once the transaction is verified or the dispute window closes, all sensitive customer information is manually deleted from the site. No data is ever downloaded to local machines or personal devices.
We do not save your credit card data on our servers, except for the last 4 digits of the card used for receipt purposes. All full credit card details and billing addresses are processed, securely saved, and used exclusively by our trusted payment platforms: WiPay and Paywise.
đ What We Keep
The only customer data that remains saved in our secure Firebase database is:
- Your basic past order information
- Your name
- Your email address
This allows for a seamless login experience and order history access.
Driver Data Policy (KYC)
Know Your Customer verification for drivers
To ensure the utmost safety for our passengers, all drivers must undergo a strict Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process.
đ Document Collection
Driver information, including Government IDs and Proof of Address, is uploaded directly to the MarketHub server and synced to Firebase.
đ¤ Profile Data
The following information is saved securely in Firebase to maintain your active driver profile:
- License Plate Number
- Full Name
- Date of Birth (DOB)
On the server side, your sensitive document uploads (IDs, proof of address) are deleted immediately after they are copied for our internal compliance records.

We enforce these strict verification and data-handling protocols specifically to protect the customer, ensuring every driver on the Tranzit platform is fully vetted and accountable, without leaving sensitive driver documents exposed on web-facing servers.
Account and Data Deletion Request
Your right to be forgotten
In compliance with Google Play's data policies, users have the right to request the complete deletion of their account and all associated personal data.
To have your Firebase profile and account history permanently wiped, please send an email requesting data deletion to tranzitdrivers748@gmail.com.
Our administration team will process your request and securely remove your data from our active databases.

How we communicate changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
