Identity Verification & Anti-Fraud Policy

For new users (first-time riders) paying by card, Tranzit ("the Service") requires a one-time identity verification. You will be prompted to take a selfie photo to confirm that you are the authorized cardholder. This measure is implemented to prevent unauthorized credit card usage and fraudulent activity.
✓ Returning customers (1+ completed rides) skip this verification entirely.
When verification is required, you will see a clear popup requesting a selfie. If the initial verification cannot be completed (e.g., due to insufficient lighting), you may be asked to:
New users paying by card will need to grant camera access when prompted during checkout. This permission is only requested when verification is needed. Returning customers do not need camera access.
By creating an account or booking a ride, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
